As per film nagar sources Bellamkonda Suresh is confirmed to make with hero Venkatesh as Chandramukhi-2 in Telugu.
Director P Vasu who directed kannada Aptha Rakshka, planned to do this sequel with Rajinikanth in Telugu and Tamil. As per the sources Rajinikanth denied this offer becuase of Kannda Aptha Rakshaka star Vishnuvardhan’s sudden death (spirit of Nagavalli).
