Sonam Kapoor in Mahesh-Srinu Vytla’s film??

Mahesh Babu had recently agreed to do a film in Srinu Vytla’s direction. Srinu Vytla was scouting for a new heroine to cast in this film opposite Mahesh. The latest buzz surrounding this film is that Sonam Kapoor might be roped in to play the lead actress. Currently discussions are going on to cast her in the film; however it’s not yet confirmed if it’s the final decision. Sonam Kapoor has acted in couple of Hindi films, Saawariya and Delhi-6. Srinu Vytla has earlier said that major part of this film with Mahesh will be shot in North India and Sonam Kapoor seems to be an appropriate choice for the film. Mahesh had earlier acted with Amrita Rao in ‘Athidhi’. This film in Srinu Vytla-Mahesh’s combination is expected to go on floors in March. Achanta Gopichand, Anil Sunkara and Achanta Ram are jointly producing this film under ‘14 Reels Entertainment’ banner. The film is going to a different kind of mass entertainer. Srinu Vytla is planning to shootthis film with a Super35mm camera for the first time in his career. More details about rest of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed. This film is being planned for 2011 Sankranthi release.

Currently Mahesh is acting in Trivikram’s film and Anushka is playing the lead role in this film. This film will be completed with another 60 days of filming and it’s gearing up for a Summer Release. Singamala Ramesh is producing this film.
