Krish, who pulled off a casting coup by roping in Allu Arjun and Manchu Manoj for his second film ‘Vedam’ is busy wrapping up the shooting of the film. Anushka is playing an important role in the film. Krish and other actors are maintaining utmost secrecy about the film. The film has five important characters and there is a lot of buzz that Krish is adopting a new screenplay technique, which has never been experimented in Telugu cinema before. Manoj Bajpai is also playing a crucial role in the film. Devineni and Sobha Yarlagadda will jointly produce the film on Arka Media banner. There are rumours in gossip circles that MM Keeravani is playing a role too.

The film was earlier being planned for a Sankranthi release. However, the latest news is that the release of this multistarrer might be pushed to March. December- January will see a deluge of big banner films like, Saleem, Adurs, Leader, Bindaas, Om Shanti, Kedi and Namo Venkatesa. Producers of such big banner films are already making sure that they get a good number of theatres for releasing their films. Inside sources say that ‘A’ centres can handle 6 big banner films at a time and ‘B’ centres can handle 4 films. Lack of substantial number of cinema halls, seems to be main reason for this change of plans for ‘Vedam’. We will have to wait till March, 2010 to see what ‘Vedam’ has in store for us.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun starrer Badrinath is currently in its final schedule of its shoot and simultaneously the post-production works are under progress. The film-makers are planning to release the film on 21^st May while the audio is likely to be launched in first week of May.

Milky beauty Tamannah is playing the leading lady in the film. V.V.Vinayak is directing this socio-fantasy film and Allu Aravind is producing it lavishly with a budget of 40 crores under the banner Geetha Arts. Chinni Krishna has penned the script for the film.
